Greetings from Dagny & Anna!

Our semi-resident St. Bernard, Anna, and our beloved Dagny in spirit welcome all of our canine guests with  a friendly sniff "hello!"

Dagny passed away peacefully on October 31, 2007.  She was an special member of our family and will be sorely missed.  She is survived by Anna, another St. Bernard rescue dog, who is about 2-1/2 years old and 145lbs.  Now that Anna is alone, she will be at the inn more often trying to fill Dagny's big paws in greeting guests.  Here is a page of photo's and memories of Dagny, who was part of the Inn since 1998. [Link will go live soon - please send any photos or memories you have of Dagny to the Inn for inclusion.]

Greetings fellow puppies!

I hope you can convince your parents to bring you to the Tamworth Inn!  Please remind your parents of a few things concerning your stay:

Please ask your parents to keep you on a leash at all times while you are inside.  You should also know that there is a leash law in the village, so you might want to have your leash on while you are outside as well!

You are free to stay in your room while your parents are in the building, as long as you don't disturb other guests.  Please be sure your parents put you in your crate  before they leave the room!  Also, your meals should be served in the bathroom and please stay off the beds.   If your parents decide to leave the Inn, please ask them to take you along! We have many wonderful hiking, biking and Cross Country Ski trails nearby which you are welcome to roam! If your parents opt for something non-doggie related, please make sure to check out the local kennels and doggie spas listed below!

Although it is hard to believe, some people that stay at the Inn do not care for furry things such as yourself.  Because of this, we ask that you are considerate of others while in the public areas of the Inn and remember that the other guests are here to relax and enjoy themselves, too!  Also remember that the law does not permit you to be in any areas where food is served (which includes the area by the pool in the evenings.)

These may sound like pretty tough rules, but remember that our staff will do everything possible to ensure that you, and your parents, are as comfortable as possible!  Besides,  the alternative is to have Uncle Otto (who you bit last year) stay with you at home!

Woof ! Woof !
